Country-Style Creamy Chicken *GOOD*

Ingredients

  • 3 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
  • 3 tablespoon butter or margarine
  • 6 mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1 3/4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon ketchup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 (8 ounce) package egg noodles, cooked

Preparation

Step 1

Cut the chicken into bite-size pieces. Saute in butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat until light brown on all sides.

Add mushrooms, onion and garlic. Cook for about 4 min. Remove chicken and vegetables with a slotted spoon.

Blend flour, salt, pepper and poultry seasoning into pan juices; add broth gradually. Cook, stirring continually, until thickened, about 6 minutes.

Stir in ketchup, sour cream, chicken and vegetables. Heat to serving temperature, about 3 minutes; do not boil. Serve over noodles.
