Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Ingredients

  • 1 (3-4 pound) beef roast (sirloin tip)
  • 1 can (10 ounces) beef gravy
  • 1 envelope (1 ounce) au jus mix
  • 1/2 envelope Italian salad dressing mix
  • 1/2 cup dry red wine
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 cup cold water

Preparation

Step 1

Place roast in slow cooker. Mix together in bowl gravy, au jus mix, salad dressing mix and wine. Pour mixture over meat. Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours. Remove roast to plate - cover with foil to keep warm. Turn slow cooker to high. Mix flour in water until smooth. Stir into juices in slow cooker. Cook 15 minutes or until thickened.
