Shrimp Mascas

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Large Whole Shrimp
  • 1 Cup Olive Oil
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 2 Tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • 2 Tsp Oregano
  • 2 Tsp Rosemary Leaves
  • 3 Bay Leaves Crumbled
  • 25 Cloves Unpeeled Garlic (mashed)
  • 1 Cup Dry White Wine

Preparation

Step 1

Place all ingredients, except wine, in a large skillet.
Cover over medium heat for 15-20 minutes or until shrimp is pink and liquid almost disappears.
Reduce heat and add wine.
Reduce until liquid is reduced by half about 5-7 minutes.
Serve with french bread for dipping.
Eat with fingers and have lots of napkins.
