Ingredients
- 1/4 cp unsalted butter
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 2 large onions-halved and sliced thinly
- sea salt
- 24 ozs sour cream
- 4 ozs cream cheese
- 3/4 tsp chipotle chili powder
Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter with olive oil, med-high heat. Add onions and sea salt. Sautee until golden brown. Redue heat to medium and continue to sautee about 10 mins longer, until deep goldern brown. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.
Combine onions, sour cream, cream cheese and chipotle powder.
Chill 1 hr. Can be made 1 day head
