Liver Loaf

Ingredients

  • 1 lb liver (any kind)
  • 1 onion
  • 1 egg,well beaten
  • 1 tablespoon chopped celery
  • 1/4 lb.bacon
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • salt and papper

Preparation

Step 1

Cover liver with boiling water and let stand for
ten minutes,then drain and dry.Mince the liver,bacon and onion.Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughy.
Pack into greased loaf pan and bake 1 hour in 350
degree oven.Excellent for sandwiches and hors d'oeuvres.
