Navy Bean Soup

Ingredients

  • 16 oz. Dried Navy Beans
  • 6 C. Water
  • 1 4.5 oz. can diced tomatoes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 stalk celery, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 # chopped ham
  • 1 cube chicken boulion
  • 2 Tbs. Worchester
  • 1 Tbs. parsely
  • 2 tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 3 C. water

Preparation

Step 1

Combine beans, water, vegetables, ham and seasoning in stock pot. Bring to a boil. Lower heat, cover and simmer 2 hours. Add additional water if needed. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer 2 more hours. Serve
