Classic Macaroni Salad

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. elbow macaroni about 1 3/4 cups.
  • 3/4 c. mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 c. sliced celery
  • 1 cup chopped green or red pepper
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion

Preparation

Step 1

Cook and drain pasta according to package directions. Combine mayo, vinegar, mustard, sugar, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Add cooked elbows, celery, peppers, and onion. Toss to coat. Cover; chill to blend flavors
