Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cps softened butter
- 1 cp sugar
- 2 cp brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 4 cps flour
- 2 cps old fashion oats
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 cps canned pumpkin
- 2 cp chocolate chips
- candy corn and M&M's for decorating
Preparation
Step 1
Cream butter and sugars; add vanilla and egg. Combine flour, oats, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; add to creamed mixture alternately with pumpkin. Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop by 1/4 cupfuls onto lightly greased cooky sheets. Spread into a pumpkin shape using icing knife. Drop 1/2 tsp of dough on top of pumpkin for stem. Bake @ 350 for 20-25 mins. Cool 1 min before removing to wire racks. 32 large cookies
