Puerto Rican Breakfast Polenta

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup finely ground cornmeal
  • 3 cups milk
  • 3/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 3 tablespoons of butter

Preparation

Step 1

Boil all ingredients, except cornmeal.

Remove from heat and gradually add cornmeal while continually mixing with a whisk. Cook over medium-low heat until it thickens.

Serve warm. Add more sugar or milk if desired.

Top with cinnamon sugar.
