Ingredients
- Syrup:
- 12 c of cooked and diced Beets
- 2 c Cider Vinegar
- 2 c White Sugar
- 2 c Water
- 1 tb Salt
- Tie in Cheesecloth:
- 2 tb Pickling Spices
- 1 tsp Whole Cloves
Preparation
Step 1
Add all ingredients to a large pot and bring to a boil - boil for about 5 minutes. Remove spice bag and keep syrup hot while packing the beets.
Pack each bottle with beets. Pour hot syrup over beets to completely cover them. Seal, cool and store.
