Ingredients
- Seeds removed from 2-3 pumpkins
- salt
- butter
Preparation
Step 1
Wash seeds thoroughly.
fill sauce pan approx half full with water.
Boil in Salt water for half hour. (1/2 - 1 tsp salt for 2 cups seeds).
Drain water.
Put seeds back in pan and add 1 1/2 - 2 tbsp melted butter.
Stir well to coat.
Add 1 1/4 tsp salt.
Stir well again.
Spread in single layer on cookie sheet or sheet cake pan.
Bake at 250 for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
