Green Bean Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp all purp flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 cup onion-diced
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 cans french style green beans
  • 1 1/2 -2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup Ritz crackers
  • 1 tbsp butter-melted

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350. Melt 2 tbsp butter in skillet over med heat, saute onions 5 min, add flour until smooth 1 min, stir in salt, sugar & sour cream, add beans to coat. Transfer to 2 1/2 qt dish, spread cheese over top. In another dish, combine cracker crumbs & remaining butter, sprinkle over cheese. Bake 30 min or until top is golden.
