Cajun Pasta

From the Chef at Glen Echo. We serve this every year at our Mardis Gras party.

Ingredients

  • 4 C of cooked pasta
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1/4 C of blackening spice
  • 8 oz. of cream
  • 1/2 pound of peeled, cooked shrimp
  • 1/2 pound of tasso ham
  • 2 C shredded cooked chicken

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter in pan and add spices. Add cream and stir until well heated (just below boiling point.) Stir in all of the remaining ingredients. Serve immediately. Serves 6-8.
