CARROT CAKE

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2-1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1-1/2 cups oil
  • 4 eggs (one at a time)
  • 1-1/2 cups chopped walnuts
  • 2-1/2 cups grated carrots
  • ICING
  • 1 - 8 ounce pkg cream cheese softened
  • 1 stick butter softened
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 box powdered sugar (4 Cups)
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts

Preparation

Step 1

Combine dry ingredients and add oil and eggs.
Fold in carrots and nuts.

Bake at 350 degrees and check after 30 minutes.

For Icing – Cream mixture together
