Cranberry Fruit Basket

A gelatin salad recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 pkg (8 oz) cranberry flavour gelatin, or any red flavour
  • 1 1/2 cups ginger ale, carbonated beverage, or water
  • 2 cups halved green and/or red seedless grapes
  • 1 can mandarin orange segments, drained

Preparation

Step 1

Stir boiling water into gelatin in a large bowl at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Stir in cold ginger ale. Refrigerate about 1 hour or until thickened (spoon drawn through leaves definite impression).

Stir in fruit. Spoon into mold sprayed with no stick cooking spray.

Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm. Unmold. Garnish as desired. Store leftover dessert in refrigerator.
