Bob's Mom's Meatloaf

Ingredients

  • 2 c day old bread
  • 3/4 c dry minced onion
  • 2 eggs, beaten slightly
  • 2 lbs meat
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/4 c milk
  • 3/4 c ketchup

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400.
Grease shallow pan.
Add eggs to meat and toss lightly (over-mixing toughens loaf).
Toss in bread crumbs and onion.
Combine in with fork: salt, mustard, milk, 1/4 c ketchup.
Shape into loaf.
Spread with 1/2 c ketchup.
Bake at 400.
