Mushroom Soup

Ingredients

  • 2 small onions, diced
  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 16 oz. can mushrooms
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 10 cups water
  • 6 tsp. chicken soup mix
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 2 cups milk

Preparation

Step 1

1 Saute onion in margarine; add lemon juice. Add mushrooms; cook 10 minutes. Add flour, mixing well. Add rest of ingredients, except milk. Cook for 1 hour.
2 Blend with hand blender, leaving some pieces. After blending add milk and cook another 15 minutes.
