Sweet and Spicy Peanuts

Ingredients

  • 3 cups salted peanuts
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 Tbs hot water
  • 2 Tbs butter, melted
  • 1 Tbs Sriracha Asian hot chili sauce or hot pepper sauce
  • 1 tsp chili powder

Preparation

Step 1

Place peanuts in greased slow cooker. In a small bowl, combine the sugars, water, butter, hot sauce, and chili pepper. Pour over peanuts. Cover and cook on high for 45 minutes; stir. Cover and cook 45min longer.
Spread on waxed paper to cool. Store in an airtight container.
