Cinnamon Apples

Found this recipe in a Wegman's magazine. It works well over ice cream, pancakes, french toast or on yogurt.

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 4 large tart apples, peeled, cored and sliced in 1/4 in thick pieces
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon or to taste
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Preparation

Step 1

In a large skillet or saucepan, melt butter over medium heat; add apples. Cook, stirring constantly, until apples are almost tender, about 6 to 7 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in brown sugar and cinnamon.
