Found this recipe in a Wegman's magazine. It works well over ice cream, pancakes, french toast or on yogurt.more
large tart apples, peeled, cored and sliced in ¼ in thick pieces
tsp cinnamon or to taste
cup brown sugar
In a large skillet or saucepan, melt butter over medium heat; add apples. Cook, stirring constantly, until apples are almost tender, about 6 to 7 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in brown sugar and cinnamon.
