Veal Porcupines

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb veal
  • 1/4 cup uncooked rice
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons Crisco Oil
  • 1 cup tomatoes, pulp and juice
  • 2 cups boiling water

Preparation

Step 1

Grind Veal. Blend with rice. Shape into small meatballs. Heat enough crisco oil in skillet to cover bottom generously. Add meatballs. Fry until brown. Add tomatoes and water. Season with salt and pepper - cover tightly; cook slowly 50 mts. Remove meatballs, thicken gravy with flour. Serve hot over meat balls.
