  • 1 Pound Italian Sausage
  • 1 Pound Ground Chuck or Better
  • 2 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons fennel seeds
  • 28 Ounces of Crushed Tomatoes
  • 12 Ounces of Tomato Paste
  • 13 Ounces of Tomato Sauce
  • 1/2 Cup Chicken Broth
  • 1/3 Can of Creme of Chicken or Mushroom Soup
  • 1 teaspoon and 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons basil dried
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoons garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon Grated Romano
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter
  • 1 Bay Leaf

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter and add bay leaf, garlic, fennel seed and saute for 5 minutes do not burn turn off heat and set aside In another pan brown sausage and burger drain well and add garlic fennel mixture simmer for on low for 3 minutes Combine All tomato products and dry spices with chicken broth and soup Blend into Meat mixture and simmer for 1 hour Remove Bay leaf before using This sauce is so great for Spaghetti, Lasagna any pasta dish For a little kick I like to sprinke on chili powder just a touch Enjoy
