Broccoli Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 1 sm. onion-chopped
  • 2 T. butter
  • 1 6 oz. roll garlic cheese
  • 1 t. Worchestershire sauce
  • 3/4 c. sliced almonds
  • 1/4 t. tabasco sauce
  • 1 4 oz. can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 t. monoglut.
  • 1/4 t. black pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Cook broccoli til just tender; drain, set aside
Saute onions in butter
Add cheese, soup, seasonings
Heat til cheese melts
Add broccoli-cook 1 minute
Add almonds and mushrooms
Serve hot in chafing or similar dish
Large fritos or Wheat Thins work well with this dip
