Garlic Green Beans

Ingredients

  • • 1 lb green beans, rinsed and ends cut
  • • 1 TBSP minced garlic
  • • 1 tsp salt, to taste
  • • 1/4 tsp black pepper, ground
  • • 1 TBSP vegetable oil

Preparation

Step 1

1. On the stovetop, heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic. Turn heat to low. Stir occassionally until garlic is golden brown, roughly 4 minutes.
2. Add green beans, salt and pepper. Stir. Cover and allow to steam in its own moisture for 2 minutes undisturbed. Uncover, stir, and cover again for another 2 minutes.
3. Uncover and stir. Turn up the heat. Then let green beans sear another 2 minutes uncovered. Serve hot. Enjoy!
