Step 1
Mix 2 c mashed potatoes (with no milk or butter) with 1 lighly beaten egg, 1 tbsp minced chives, 1 tsp minced fresh parsley, salt and pepper, 1/8 tsp dried minced garlic, dried crushed rosemary. Mix well then add 1/2 c sharp cheddar cheese. Then heat canola oil in pan and drop 1/4 c dolops and flatten. WE TRIED THIS 11/5/12 AND IT WAS VERY GOOD, MAKE SURE PAN VERY HOT, TOOK A LITTLE WHILE TO COOK AND STUCK TO PAN A LITLE. I USED PREPARED POTATOTES PURCHASED FROM GROCERY STORE AND THEY WERE FINE.
