Jalapeno Sausage Poppers

Ingredients

  • 1 tube crescent rolls
  • 12 oz. pork or chicken sausage
  • 1 small can jalapeno relish
  • 8 oz. shredded milk cheddar cheese

Preparation

Step 1

1. Lightly spray 2 mini muffin pans with vegetable oil spray.
2. Open crescent roll tube and seal seams to make one large piece of dough. Cut into 2x2 inch squares to line the holes in the muffin pans. Set aside.
3. In a frying pan, fry the sausage on medium-high, breaking it apart into very small pieces. When all is browned, add can of jalapeno relish and mix in thoroughly.
4. Add shredded cheese and stir until all the meat is coated. Drop this mixture by spoonfuls into the center of the crescent-lined muffin pans.
5. Bake at 375˚ for 11-13 minutes. Let cool for at least 5 minutes.
