Tricia Wilson's Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 5 lbs potatoes
  • 8 oz cream cheese with chives
  • 1 t garlic salt
  • pepper
  • 6 T butter
  • 2 c heavy cream or 1 c light and 1 c heavy

Preparation

Step 1

Mash potatoes by hand, then with beater mix all other ingredients together, until just mixed. Butter a 9x13" pan. Pour mixture in and dot with butter. Bake at 325 for 1/2 hour covered, or 375 for 1/2 hour uncovered.
