Ingredients
- Date filling:
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup butter
- pinch salt
- 1 lb. dates with enough water to cover. Cook until soft, and add 1 tsp. lemon juice.
Preparation
Step 1
Mix above ingredients and press into baking pan. Cover with cooled date filling.
