Aunt Cindy's Spicy Stew

Ingredients

  • 8 8 8 c water
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 2 2 chicken breasts
  • 2 2 2 bay leaves
  • 2 2 2 c potatoes
  • 1 1/2 1 1/2 1/2 c onions
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 c carrots
  • 2 2 2 tsp cilantro
  • 2 2 2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/4 1/4 1/4 c cumin
  • 3 3 3 cans green chilis
  • 1 14 1 14 1 14 oz can diced tomatoes
  • 1 10 1 10 1 10 oz can diced green chili and tomatoes

Preparation

Step 1

Cook the first five ingredients in a large pot on a hot stove.

Add the rest of the ingredients to the pot. Cook until vegetables are tender. Pour soup in bowls and serve with rye bread and shredded cheddar cheese.
