Beef Bourguinon 4

Ingredients

  • 1 each Garlic Clove, minced
  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil
  • 4 md Onions, sliced
  • 1/2 lb. Mushrooms, quartered
  • 2 lbs. Boneless Beef Chuck, 1" pcs
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon Marjoram
  • 1/4 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1/2 cup Flour
  • 1 cup Beef Broth
  • 1 1/2 cups Red Burgundy Wine

Preparation

Step 1

1. Heat oil in skillet. Saute garlic, onions, and mushrooms.

2. Meanwhile, combine flour, salt, thyme, marjoram and pepper. Roll beef cubes in flour and set aside. Remove and set aside onions/mushrooms.

3. Add 2 T of oil to pan and brown beef cubes. Add stock and wine to beef.

4. Let cubes simmer for about 1.5 hours. Add onion/mushroom mixture back to beef.
