Salad Layered

Ingredients

  • 1 medium lettuce - shredded & cut
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 medium green pepper
  • 7 radishes sliced thin
  • 2 stalks celery sliced thin
  • 1 cucumber sliced thin
  • 2 grated carrots
  • 2 cups salad dressing
  • Half and Half - enough to thin salad dressing a bit
  • 4 ounce pkg shredded cheddar cheese
  • 5 slices cooked bacon or 2/3 cup bacon bits

Preparation

Step 1

Pack lettuce into 9x13 pan. Layer the following ingredients in order: onion, pepper, radishes, celery, cucumber and carrots ( you can also slice hard cooked eggs and layer them in). Thin the salad dressing with Half and Half and spread on top of the salad. Sprinkle with 4 ounce pkg of shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon. Refrigerate for 24 hours. Cover tightly with wrap.
