Pie Crust Recipe (makes 5 single crusts)

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Shortening
  • 5 Cups Flour
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 2 Egg Yolks
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1 Tsp Vinegar

Preparation

Step 1

Mix together shorteningm, flour, sugar and salt until mixture resembles cornmeal.

Beat eggyolks together with water and vinegar. Sprinkle over dry mixture; work with your fingers or a spoon until mixture forms a ball. Set aside to rest.
