Cream Cheese Brownie Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 pie crust, store bought is fine, follow directions for thawing
  • 8 oz cream cheese at room temperature
  • 3 T sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 package pillsbury fudge supreme hot fudge swirl premium brownie mix
  • 1/3 C oil
  • 2 T water
  • 1/2 C chopped pecans
  • 1 t vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350

Blind bake the pie crust

In a stand mixer with the paddle attachment combine cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and 1 egg and beat until smooth and set aside

Reserve the hot fudge packet from the borwnie mix for the topping.

In a large bowl combine the brownie mix, oil, 1 T water and remaining 2 eggs, beat 50 strokes with a wooden spoon.

Spread 1/2 of the brownie mixture in the prepared pie pan, add the cream cheese mixture and top with the remaining brownie mixture. Sprinkle the nuts on top.

Bake at 350 for 40-50 minute or until center is puffed and crust is golden.

Place hot fudge packet in a small microwave safe bowl and heat for 30 seconds. Stir in remaining water and drizzle the fudge over the top of the completely cooled pie. Store in fridge.
