Ingredients
- Garlic Butter:
- 2 tbsps. butter
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 tbsp. Freshly chopped parsley
- Mushrooms:
- 5-6 large portobello mushrooms
- 5-6 mozzarella cheese balls
- 1 c grape tomatoes
- fresh basil
- Balsamic Glaze:
- 1/4 c balsamic vinegar
- 2 tsps. brown sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to broil on high heat
Combine all of the garlic butter together in a small sauce pan & melt until garlic is fragrant brush the bottom of each mushroom & place them bottom side down on a baking sheet.
Flip & brush remaining garlic over the insides of each cap.
Fill each mushroom with the mozzarella slices & tomatoes & broil until cheese has melted & is golden in color.
To serve-top with basil & drizzle with balsamic glaze.
Balsamic Glaze:
Combine sugar & vinegar in a small sauce pan for 5-8 minutes or until mixture has thickened & reduced to a glaze.
