Slow cooker No Knead Bread

Ingredients

  • 3 C all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp quick rising yeast
  • 1 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 C very warm water (100 F)

Preparation

Step 1

Combine flour, yeast and salt. Pour in hot water and combine well using a rubber spatula. Dough will be sticky. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise at room temp for 3 hours. It will have bubbles and look soft and wet.

Place dough on well floured surface. Sprinkle just enough flour over top to keep your fingers from sticking. Give it a few folds, forming into a ball.

Place onto a piece of parchment paper, NOT waxed paper. Place dough and paper into slow cooker.

Cover and cook on high for 2-3 hours or until internal temp is 190-200F

Bread will have a soft outer layer. For browned crust toss under the broiler for a few minutes.
