Step 1
Make a simple syrup of 2 c water, 2 c sugar and 12 sprigs fresh thyme. Pour throw sieve and discard thyme. Cover with plastic and chill. In large serving pitcher stir together 4 c fresh (24 lemons) squeezed lemon juice, 2 c vodka and chilled simple syrup. Pour into 8 glasses and garnish with thyme sprig.
