By á-136556
My sister, Lisa's, cheesy, creamy recipe. It isn't necessary to grease the baking dish; the butter keeps ingredients from sticking.

Ingredients
- 1 lb elbow macaroni
- 1 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese, cubed
- 1 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese, sliced in 1/8 inch squares
- 2 medium whole eggs
- 4 Tbs butter or margarine
- 2 1/2 cups whole milk
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Boil pasta as directed on package (al dente); drain. Pour pasta into a 13 X 9 glass dish. Mix in butter. Add eggs, cubed cheese, salt and pepper. Mix well. Add milk which should cover the pasta; you may need to add more). Layer top with the cheese squares. Cover loosely with foil so the cheese won't stick to the foil and bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Remove the foil and bake until the top browns (approximately 20-30 minutes).
