Chipotle Salsa

Ingredients

  • 1 lb roasted red tomatoes
  • 4 chipotle chile, fresh...(you may use 4 dried chipotle peppers, just roast, devein and deseed, soak in boiled water for 5 minutes)
  • 2 garlic cloves, roasted in its peel (remove the peel when cooled)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Preparation

Step 1

Grind all ingredients together until it has a coarse texture.

You can use a food processor. Place the tomatoes, chiles and garlic in food processor. Pulse together.
Add the water and salt and pulse until you reach the consistency you like.
