Butterscotch Pudding & Pie Filling

Ingredients

  • 3 T. Butter
  • 3 T. Flour
  • 1 T. Cornstarch
  • 1/4 t. Salt
  • 1 C. Brown Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 1/2 C. Milk
  • 1 t. Vanilla
  • 8 inch Pie Shell (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

1. Cream together Butter, Flour, Cornstarch, Salt and Sugar. Beat in Egg and Milk. Cook on top of double boiler, until it boils and starts to get thicker. It will get thicker as it cools.

2. Remove from heat and stir in Vanilla. Pour into 8 inch Pie Shell or dessert dishes, your choice.

3. If you chose the Pie, you could serve it with Cool Whip. Enjoy!
