Crock Pot Pulled Pork

Ingredients

  • 5 lb pork shoulder
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 4 medium garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 3 TBS dark brown sugar
  • 1 TBS chili powder
  • 1 TBS kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 Cup apple cider
  • 1 TBS yellow mustard
  • 1 TBS Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 2 cups barbecue sauce, optional

Preparation

Step 1

Cook on high 4-6 hours until falling apart. Shred with a fork
