Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh asparagus
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup Dijon mustard
- 2 heaping Tbsp each fresh dill and fresh chives, minced
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Snap the very bottom-most ends from the asparagus spears, leaving the spears long and whole. Steam until just tender. Run under cold water and drain.
Combine all the remaining ingredients and mix well. Place the asparagus in a long, shallow dish, pour the dressing over, and chill.
