Cherry Crunch

Ingredients

  • 1 can (21 oz.) cherry pie filling
  • 1 can pitted dark sweet cherries, drained (Other fruit pie fillings may be used here as well as crushed pineapple, drained.)
  • 3/4 c. Bisquick baking mix
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 c. firm margarine or butter

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix pie filling and cherries in ungreased baking dish, 8x8x2"; spread evenly. Mix baking mix, nuts, sugar and cinnamon. Cut in margarine until crumbly; sprinkle over cherry mixture. Bake until brown, about 35 min. Serve with vanilla ice cream if desired.
