Shrimp Creole from Patty Norman

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
  • 2 cup tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup chili sauce
  • 1 tsp worcestshire
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 shakes Tabasco
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/1 /2 - 2 lbs shrimp raw

Preparation

Step 1

Fry bacon and remove from pan. Saute onions and green pepper in fat. Add tomateos, chili sauce, worcestshire, pepper, tabasco and salt. Cook slowly until thick...stirring. Add shrimp 15 mins before serving. Serve over hot rice and sprinkle with bacon. Can be easily doubled.
