German Chocolate Bars

My aunt makes these amazing bars...you must try them!

Ingredients

  • Top with caramel sauce:
  • One box German chocolate cake mix
  • 1/3 c canned evaporated milk
  • 3/4 c oil
  • 3/4 c nuts
  • Mix together and put 1/2 batter in pan and bake 8 mins @ 350 degrees.
  • 1 jar carmel apple dip in produce aisle OR 14 oz carmels – unwrap and microwave with 1/3 c evap milk
  • Then sprinkle with one cup choc chips
  • Dot with remaining batter.

Bake 20-25 mins at 350 degrees.
