Ingredients
- 3 Tblsp. butter, divided
- 2 Tblsp. flour
- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash pepper
- 2 16oz. cans green beans, drained
- 1 c. fresh breadcrumbs
- dash paprika
Preparation
Step 1
Melt 2 tablespoons butter in saucepan. Blend in flour. Slowly pour in milk, stirring constantly. Continue stirring and cook until thickened. Stir in cheese, salt and pepper. Do not boil. Place beans in 2 quart casserole dish. Pour cheese sauce over beans. Combine remaining butter, crumbs, and paprika. Sprinkle over casserole. Bake at 375 for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
