  • 1 package (7 ounces) small pasta shells
  • 2 medium tomatoes, chopped (1 1/2 cups)
  • 2 medium green onions, chopped (2 tablespoons)
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons olive or vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh basil leaves or 1/2 teaspoon dried basil leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon coarsely cracked pepper

Preparation

Step 1

1.Cook and drain pasta as directed on package. Rinse with cold water; drain.
2.Mix remaining ingredients. Toss pasta and tomato mixture. Cover and refrigerate about 2 hours or until chilled.
