Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 3-4 large red onions chopped
- 3-4 large white onions chopped
- 4 green onions chopped
- 6 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup white wine or sherry
- 1 +1/2 tsp. thyme
- 1/2 tsp. salt and white pepper
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breats, cut into bite size pieces
Preparation
Step 1
in a large dutch oven, saute onions in butter, until golden, do not over cook. add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. reduce heat and simmer 1 hour, stirring occasionally. serve hot top with croutons or cheese bread.
