Ingredients
- 2 T olive oil
- 1/2 finely chopped onion
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 2 lbs chicen cut into 3/4" pieces
- 1 T + more for seasoning soy sauce
- 1/4 t toasted sesame oil
- Kosher salt & pepper
- 1 T + 1t finely grated lemon zest
- 2 T lemon juice
- 2 scallions, thinly sliced
- rice for serving
Preparation
Step 1
Heat olive oil in large skillet. Add onion & cook, stirring until softened, @ 4 min. Add garlic & sauce 1 min. Add chicken & cook over moderately hi heat, stirring occasionally, until browned all over, @ 3 min. Stir in soy sauce & sesame oil. Season to taste with salt & pepper & cook another 3 min. Remove from heat & stir in lemon zest & lemon juice. Transfer to platter & top with scallion slices. Serve over rice.
