Ingredients
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 3 pounds chicken pieces
- 1/2 cup sliced onion
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 3/4 cup frozen concentrated orange juice, thawed
Preparation
Step 1
Put first 5 ingredients into paper or plastic bag.
Add chicken, a few pieces at a time; shake to coat. Arrange on greased foil-lined baking pan. Place skin side up in 450 oven for about 20 minutes to brown. Transfer to a small roaster.
Saute onion in butter in frying pan until soft. Add to chicken. Drizzle orange juice over chicken. Cover and bake in 350 oven for about 1 1/2 hours until tender. Baste twice with roaster liquid during cooking.
