Ingredients
- 9 inch unbaked pastry shell
- 2 or 3 eggs (1/2 cup) beaten
- 1-3/4 cups pumpkin
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1-3/4 cups milk
Preparation
Step 1
Make fluted edge of pastry, 1/2 inch high on rim of pie plate. Stir pumpkin into eggs. Mix salt and spices with sugar and stir into pumpkin. Add milk gradually and mix well. Pour into pastry shell. Bake in hot oven (425 degrees) 45 to 55 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
If use non-fat milk, 240 calories in 1/3 portion without crust.
